What do I bring to class?
All you need to bring to class is a workout mat 12mm or thicker, a set of free weights of at least 5 pounds, water to drink, and a great attitude. Mats and weights can be purchased at Target, Wal-Mart, or any sporting goods store. Some members bring a towel and weight lifting gloves (for occasional ground work).
The most important thing is that attitude. Don’t leave that at home!!
Does CALEO offer personal training or Corporate training classes?
YES! We offer personal training sessions to you in your home or in an agreed upon location. You and your trainer will decide the days and times for your 4 week sessions. Registrations will occur on the website just like group classes.
For corporate training the instructor will come to your place of business 2-3 times a week and give you and your co-workers private workouts that will keep your mind and body guessing! Exercise in a work environment is proven to increase productivity, collaboration, creativity, and loyalty. Take care of your employees and ask about this today!
What if I’m late?
We understand that life happens. We also understand that injury can happen. If you are late to a workout your instructor may ask you to do an additional warm up drill versus jumping right into it with the rest of your crew. It is not a punishment, it is to ensure your muscles are warm and ready to go! Some workout is better than no workout so don’t let this safety measure keep you from getting your sweat on!
What if I’m embarrassed?
We understand that starting something new can be very scary because we have all been there. We will push you but we will never embarrass you, yell at you, or make you feel worse about yourself. We only promote a positive environment.
What do we do if it rains or is cold?
Texas weather can be a fickle thing! Every location has an indoor location or covered area if the weather poses a problem.
What do I wear to workout?
Closed toe athletic shoes are required. When dressing for cold weather we recommend layers so you can peel off and put on as needed. When dressing for warm weather we require shirts at all times. No bare bellies allowed.
What if I have an injury or physical limitation?
We tell our clients we want them with us forever. If you have an issue with any exercise or drill PLEASE let your instructor know. We have a modification for every exercise.
